Now liberals are giving advice about who Republicans should listen to. Sam Donaldson of ABC news, that great bastion of conservatism, recently gave advice to Republicans not to listen to Sarah Palin or Glen Beck. According to him, that is why the Republicans lost the election in NY 23 congressional district, never once mentioning that the Republican candidate was more liberal then the Democrat and never once mentioning that if the Republicans would have had a primary as they normally do, Scozzafava would have never even made it to the ballot. The republicans lost the election because they backed the wrong horse Sam. Even if Palin and Beck would have never said a word about it, the results would have been the same. They lost that election in spite of Palin and Beck, not because of them. I have to wonder why they even considered backing her. She represented more Democrat views then Republican.
If I could ask Mr. Donaldson a question I would ask him, why in the world should any non-Democrat take advice from him? Does he really think that Republicans, conservatives, liberals and moderates are so stupid that we would think he was giving us constructive advice? Liberals want Republicans to lose. Maybe he does think he is giving republicans good advice. Maybe he is that stupid. I have to ask why ABC would hire him if he was but considering their ratings, maybe that isn't much of a stretch.
Taking political advice from a liberal is like asking a used car dealer his honest answer to the best car for you. They are going to give you the answer that is best for them, not you all the while trying to convince you it is in your best interest and not theirs. Here is a little piece of advice for liberals, don’t let Obama campaign for anyone. Look at what happened in New Jersey. Do us a favor Mr. Donaldson, stick to denouncing conservatism and Republicans. You are better at it and at least we know you are being honest. We can take your criticisms' much better than your advice, a conservative's skin is much thicker then liberals and we are use to it. Getting Republican political advice from a liberal is frankly, a little creepy.
